- What I'm reading:
Bo has chosen The Stand by Stephen King for this month's Dark and Stormy Book Club selection. I went to the book store last weekend and picked up the (almost 1500 page) novel, and I'm remembering how much I like the way King uses language. I'm also (still) heartily enjoying John Adams by David McCullough. I was inspired to read this after watching the HBO mini-series, and neither book nor made-for-tv movie has been even a little disappointing. I'm managing a chapter every few days - between King and getting used to my new work schedule (which is heavy on the reading), I'm a busy girl. - It's the friends you can call up at 4 a.m. that matter. -Marlene Dietrich

What, you didn’t bake your own cinamon rolls?
What is that UnSpatula in the eggs there? Why do you use it? Is it hard to clean? Do I need one if I love scrambled eggs?
Breakfast for dinner? Did the install the stove upside down?~,:^)
Nope, Vanx - the stove was installed properly. Every once in a while, we LOVE to have breakfast for dinner, mostly because “breakfast” in the usual incarnation for us consists mainly of toast and / or cereal and a glass of milk on the way out the door. I almost NEVER cook for breakfast (unless we’re talking about Boxing Day. That’s a full-on, waffles and bacon affair attended by the Wayfarer family - it’s quite a shin-dig).
Yessir - breakfast for dinner is a lovely treat. And we’re pretty much guaranteed that Beanie will eat all that’s offered - not a sure thing with “traditional” dinner fare…
