Ten Things Tuesday
January 23, 2007 by mrschili
An almost even mix of “YAY!” and “BOO!”
1. A ’spare’ hour, a mug of hot cocoa, a warm couch, and a good book.
2. People who don’t understand how to use four-way stops, on-ramps, or traffic circles.
3. A card in the mail box, just because.
4. Having one egg too few to make chocolate chip cookies.
5. Purring cats at the foot of the bed.
6. Having to gas up the car in the stupid cold (I swear it doesn’t take as long to fill up in the summer time!).
7. People who love me so much that when I say “do you know what I mean?”, they really do.
8. That scratchy feeling in the back of the throat that portends a coming cold - and knowing that there’s NOTHING you can do about it.
9. Hearing people softly snoring at the end of my yoga meditation (I know, I know - they’re not supposed to fall asleep, but the fact that they feel safe and relaxed enough that they can makes me feel very good about the environment I create).
10. Just enough snow to make all the trees pretty, but not enough to shovel or to complicate driving.
Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

A “spare” hour would be even nicer if you could save it for later.
Save a cookie for me.
I love the light dusting of snow, the slate-obscuring white wash that we get to mark up any way we want. Almost irresistable, really. Off I go now to put on my boots…
Oh no! missing one egg? That’s tragic.
Hope you managed to find one, i love cookies.
It’s Tuesday already? Oh, man….I better get busy.
I hate coming up an egg short. And it usually happens after you’ve already started mixing.
Happy Tuesday,
~Snob
Here we have not snow and too many eggs. May your ying continue to match your yang.
