Beanie Poem
April 22, 2007 by mrschili
While I was cleaning yesterday (I can’t help it - the warm weather comes, the windows get opened, and I think about the vacuum cleaner…) I found a piece of paper in the hallway by the shoes. I was JUST about to throw it out when I stopped to read it. Check this out:
Autobiographical Poem
ME
Beanie*
Quiet, small, cute
Punkin’ Pie
Who loves Mom, Dad, Punkin’
Who feels happy
Who needs Mom, friends, family
Who gives friendship, companionship, love
Who fears monsters, danger, losing
Who’d like to see Sanabell* again
Who dreams of flying without a plane
Can you STAND it?! *sniff* I LOVE being a mom…
*I changed the names to protect the innocent, but I didn’t change anything else. Oh, and she may not know how to spell Sanibel, but she knows she loves it there….

Wow! What a kid! What a talent!! I love her.
I know what you mean about being a mom. Who can resist this loveliness? Very very sweet.
Sweet. So incredibly sweet. You should hold on to it, then give it to her framed when she becomes a mom.
