FINALLY!

Beanie, at eight years, four months, and three days, has finally lost her first tooth!
I’m pretty sure it’s the first tooth she sprouted, too - the bottom center right. It’s been loose for a while - she’s been wiggling and wobbling it around for a little less than a week - and there was some sort of sister-involvement in its finally coming out. There was a little bit of blood, but we warned her that would be likely, so there was no drama.
Miss Madam will be the happy recipient of a Sacagawea dollar under her pillow. I’ve been saving them for her Tooth Fairy as I’ve been saving Susan B. Anthony dollars for Punkin’ Pie’s. I’m a think-ahead kind of mommy.
My babies really aren’t babies anymore, are they?

Wow! Congrats. I am trying to remember when my son started to lose his. I believe he was going on 8 years old. But my daughter was one of those rare “early” teeth babies. She had her first two teeth grow in before she was 3 months old (fun for nursing), and then started losing them when she was 4. She’s 8 and has lost about 15 so far. Have fun with those dollars, and NEVER forget to leave them.
I think we’re raising sharks. Ours lost teeth at 4, and got the “6 year” ones at that time too. Still - congrats to Beanie. It’s all downhill from there
CONGRATS! I can’t believe this is her first one!
“Sister-involvement”? Are you taking a don’t ask don’t tell stance on that? I would love to have a transcript of that interaction I bet it was priceless. Congratulations!
Yay, Beanie!
My Littleone has lost hers so far in the order in which they came in… That’s just amazing to me.
I still have some of my baby’s baby teeth. They are so tiny!
