They’re not out of it yet. Your phraseology could be construed as counting them out by distracting us with something shiny. Counting them out could be construed as jinxing.

Oh, no – not jinxing! SO not jinxing. I’m just saying that there’s a definite pallor over the Chili household (something with the distinct undertone of disgust, actually) that I’m trying to dissipate a little by means of happy distraction…

Beckett and Schilling give us a decent shot to bring the series back to Boston and a Game 7. What becomes scary, however, is that means Game 7 would be started by Dice-K-san, who has been less than impressive of late.
