I know I’ve had to call a number of kids down for using the word “gay” or “fag” in a passive-aggressive manner on a number of occasions this year. It hurts.

You alluded to this incident before, and it is sad, and it is stupid. I said I’d address this issue, which I know is important to you (and me, and many others) on my own blog, and I’ve been struggling with doing so (not because of my views, but because of my own inactivity for this, and many other causes, which I think are important. I’ll get there.

Aside from the gay issue, I get so sad whenever I hear, see, become aware of, suffering children.

I have a bad habit of forgetting to close my parentheses. If not obvious, the closure should have been after “important.”
