I missed what happened, but Ow. Sorry about that. My mother got 9 stitches in her forehead last fall, and a few days later, she was all swollen with black eyes. You want to keep it covered until the scab (if there is any) comes off and once there are stitches on it you want there to be lots of ointment goup on it under the band aid.
