Don't even get me started on the snow. We had a really nice day here Wednesday. Nice enough to make me think I could put away my winter coat. On Thursday afternoon it started raining and then quickly turned to snow. We woke up to about 4 inches on the ground this morning. The only good thing that can be said about snow this time of year is that it melts fairly quickly.

More Snow? Well at least you won't see any down here. We had temps in the mid 60s this past week. Looks to stay that way next week. It is a tad rainy out there right now, though.

Steve sounds like a slightly toned down version of the guy who turned me entirely off of yoga. They should start a club.

I hate being touched by people I don't know, or, perhaps more accurately, haven't granted permission to. I simply will not get massages from strangers, I'd rather skip whatever pleasure/relief is in store to avoid their touch. I think I've mentioned in the past that I don't like crowds. Two aspects of the same thing, I guess.

Sounds like Steve is an insensitive sort--at best.

My mother was certainly not touchy-feely. To the day she died I felt awkward giving her a hug, or, really, having any physical contacts. Truth to be told, I think she felt the same.

I would definitely be more comfortable with the teaching technique that you endorse.

Hope someone shows up for class to make your trip worthwhile.

Wow. That sounds like a real nightmare of a class. Sure, I know you're in critique mode, so you may be emphasizing the negatives, but you're right: I surely wouldn't go back. That welcoming thing — can I call it a vibe? — is so vital.
