THEY Find Me…
March 29, 2008 by mrschili
I was coming out of the ladies’ room last night at Yoga National Guard. The short hallway was dark - the only light came from the studio, and all those lights were dimmed.
Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a dragonfly against a purple background. Leaning against the wall, almost completely covered by a sweater and in a section reserved for lost and found, was this mat:

I went to Cicely and asked her about the mat and about how long something had to be in lost and found before it could be given a new home. She asked one of her employees how long the mat had been there - a while, it seems - so she told me to go ahead and take it. I brought it home, washed it, and now it’s mine.
I’m going to be interested to see how different my practice will be on a mat that makes me happy when I look at it.

great mat. i think it really did find you. hope you enjoy it.
What fun!
Energetically, you called it into your life and I think this is the beginning of a wonderful relationship!!
Don’t just love life’s little serendipitous moments?
Who knew such a thing even existed? Wow.
That’s so cool!
Today, THEY are finding you down here, too - in anticipation. I went to a geocaching event and asked L. Daughter to pick up a couple of travelers that we could release into new caches maybe next weekend. Guess what she brought me? Yep. Dragonfly. Oooo woooo ooooo (creepy music).
can only help cant it? By the way ,it goes nicely with your fabric over your blue door…
Good find.
It was meant to be yours.
Yesterday a large dragonfly made its way into our house. Babycakes and I had been playing with a ball in the back yard, and the ball managed to roll into the lake (the narrow canal-looking portion which runs behind our house). She ran in to grap something to try to coax it to shore, but too late. The dragonfly apparently flew in while the slider was open. Anyway, we pushed the slider all the way open, hoping the creature would sense the fresh air and depart. It did.
Later, after we’d been to the local fair (which, sadly, is nothing more than a carny—no animals, no local crafts, etc.), we spotted the ball behind a house down the water, and retrieved it.
I like your ‘found” dragonfly mat and your site!
I found a good energy here, and a good sense of humor!
I think your site was a nice find on a Sunday afternoon.
