What I'm reading:

Bo has chosen The Stand by Stephen King for this month's Dark and Stormy Book Club selection. I went to the book store last weekend and picked up the (almost 1500 page) novel, and I'm remembering how much I like the way King uses language. I'm also (still) heartily enjoying John Adams by David McCullough. I was inspired to read this after watching the HBO mini-series, and neither book nor made-for-tv movie has been even a little disappointing. I'm managing a chapter every few days - between King and getting used to my new work schedule (which is heavy on the reading), I'm a busy girl.
