I can’t wait to hear all your insights about the big day. I’m still grumbling around school that we don’t have cable in the classroom, I get NO channels on my beautiful t.v. and will be furiously trying to set up my laptop with dongle (or dongel) to live stream the festivities.

I drive my husband NUTS before we go on a trip, running the dishwasher, cleaning, making the bed, emptying the trash. But it’s so much nicer to come home and it’s all done.

I can’t believe you are going to brave the crowds. I hope all goes well.

I’m so pleased you’re going to the big day. I wish I could join you….oh how I wish I could join you. I tossed it around, but we don’t have the ability to take the time off and are without friends and family in that area. Also, I’ve decided….for the comfort of spectators, the inauguration should be held in April or May to avoid sub zero temperatures!

Would much appreciate being part of the text messaging that will ensure during the big event! I’ll look for you on TV!

40, huh? Well, happy, early, birthday! I was sick on my 40th and didn’t want to go anywhere. Problem was, my friends had planned a surprise outing. My husband practically dragged me into the shower – I should have known something was up. I really hope you get the chance to celebrate, although a trip to DC with the family is a good start.

While I think you are nuts for going to DC for the inauguration, I also think it is wicked awesome. I would love to go but there will be to many people for my likening. I am taking Tuesday off and watching the inauguration with a friend in the warm and cozy comfort of her home.

Today, and every day for that matter, I am working. Tonight I am having dinner with a friend. Tomorrow I will probably have dinner with another friend. Thursday if it doesn’t snow I am taking your eldest kid shopping. Over the weekend I am house/dog sitting for a friend. Saturday I am going to SLM1’s birthday party.
