I was tagged for this on Facebook, but I still don’t understand enough of how the program works to post it there, so you’re getting it here.
1) What is your salad dressing of choice?
I’m fond of vinaigrette and variants on the Italian theme. Specific favorites include O’Mama’s recipe, O’Garden’s house dressing, and the kind of Ken’s creamy Italian that restaurants get, but that’s not available in grocery stores.
2) What is your favorite sit-down restaurant?
I have a few… we like Bertucci’s and Macaroni Grille (but there isn’t one of either anywhere conveniently near us). There are a couple of local places we like a lot, too; specifically a brick oven pizza joint and a general-fare spot in University Town.
3) What food could you eat for 2 weeks straight and not get sick of it?
Chocolate count? Um, pizza, good hamburgers, salads, or spaghetti.
4) What are your pizza toppings of choice?
MY favorite toppings are caramelized onions and mushrooms, but my family prefers plain cheese, and I’m okay with that, too.
5) What do you like to put on your toast?
Usually, just butter, but sometimes I add jam, often Stonewall Kitchen sour cherry jam, but sometimes strawberry. I’m also fond of peanut butter, but I have to be in the right mood for it (here’s where Auntie and I differ greatly; I like melted peanut butter and she decidedly does not). If I’m having pb, though, that’s all that’s on the toast.
6) How many televisions are in your house?
Two, but only one gets regular viewing. The second is set up to catch on TiVo those shows that conflict with other shows we want to see on the main t.v., or to watch something other than the sporting event that’s going on in the family room.
7) What color cell phone do you have?
Silver and black – I’ve got an iPhone!
8 ) Are you right-handed or left-handed?
Right
9) Have you ever had anything removed from your body?
I had a cyst removed a year or so ago.
10) What is the last heavy item you lifted?
I don’t do much heavy lifting. It was probably one of my children, though.
11) Have you ever been knocked unconscious?
When I was little – eight or so, maybe – I knocked myself out running into a support for a swing set. I came to with paramedics over me, went blind for a bit, and spent the night under observation in the hospital.
12) If it were possible, would you want to know the day you were going to die?
Some days I think “yes,” and some days I think “no.” Today is a “no” day.
14) Would you drink an entire bottle of hot sauce for $1000?
No. I don’t do “hot sauce.”
15) How many pairs of flip flops do you own?
None.
16) What’s your goal for the year?
I’ve got a few of ‘em.
17) Last person you talked to?
Mr. Chili is always the first person I talk to in the morning; I told him I loved him before I got out of bed this morning.
18) Last person you hugged?
Mr. Chili
19) Favorite Season?
Summer
20) Favorite Holiday?
Christmas and Easter are tied, though Easter is kind of winning out at the moment because it’s the closest one.
21) Favorite day of the week?
Saturday.
22) Favorite Month?
June
23) First place you went this morning?
Bathroom. I’m going out later today to see some friends, though, so the bathroom won’t be the extent of my travels.
24) What’s the last movie you saw in the theater?
We saw Inkheart in the theatre.
25) Do you smile often?
Yes; I try to make it a habit.
26) Do you always answer your phone?
Pretty much. We don’t have caller id on the home phone, but sometimes I’ll let the machine get it. My iPhone has caller id, and I pretty much always answer that (if I can get to it in time or I’m not driving).
27) It’s four in the morning and you get a text message, who is it?
No one texts me at four in the morning…
28) If you could change your eye color what would it be?
I’d like my eyes to be a little greener.
29) What flavor drink do you get at Sonic?
We don’t have Sonics around here (though we do get their ads on t.v. Weird.)
30) Have you ever had a pet fish?
An old boyfriend kept a gorgeous tank for a while, but I’ve not kept fish since.
31) Favorite Christmas song?
Gabriel’s Message by Sting.
32) What’s on your wish list for your birthday?
I don’t really have one – a wish list, that is. I’m always happy with gift cards for book stores, and I love woobie clothes and chocolate (my birthday is in the dead of cold, dark January…).
33) Can you do push ups?
YES. I. CAN. Both wide-armed chest push ups AND narrow-stance triceps push ups.
34) Can you do a chin up?
I seriously doubt this one. I never could do them in school (remember the Presidential Fitness Challenge?).
35) Does the future make you more nervous or excited?
Mostly excited, though the economy makes me a little edgy, I have to admit. We’re fine, but there but for the grace of God…
36) Do you have any saved texts?
I’m not actively saving them, but my iPhone stores conversations until I go in and clear them. I’ve not done that in a while, so I guess the answer is yes.
37) Ever been in a car wreck?
Yes, but I think “wreck” is too strong a word. I’ve been in a few bumping incidents, let’s put it that way, and that’s plenty enough for me, thank you very much.
38) Do you have an accent?
*I* don’t think I do, but Seester says she can hear New England in my voice, so my answer is yes.
39) What is the last song to make you cry?
Power of Two by the Indigo Girls. It STILL gets me.
40) Plans tonight?
Not that I’m aware of, but that could change; the day is still very young.
41) Have you ever felt like you hit rock bottom?
Once, just before I hired a lawyer and divorced my parents.
42) Name 3 things you bought yesterday.
A gallon of milk, a bunch of tomatoes, and about a pound of green, seedless grapes.
43) Have you ever been given roses?
Many times. Mr. Chili usually brings home irises, though.
44) Current hate right now?
I am, as ever, blissfully hate-free.
45) Met someone who changed your life?
Yes! Many people!
46) How did you ring in the New Year?
I believe I slept through it.
47) What song represents you?
I’ve been asked this question before, and I really don’t know what the answer is. I’ll keep thinking about it, and if those of you who know me have any suggestions, bring ‘em on.
48) What were you doing at 12 AM last night?
Sleeping (Duh!)
49) What was the first thing you thought of when you woke up?
I wonder if “Monday the 13th” is equivalent to “Friday the 13th”? It would seem to me that Monday is a FAR more ominous day….”

Good morning. I’ve decided to read memes for interesting tidbits, but not do them, mostly because I’m too lazy.
Oh, I did post some videos on my cover song page.
9) Have you ever had anything removed from your body?
Two children don’t count?
and bleu cheese dressing for me, thank you very much
