Stolen, this week, from Mamie! Thanks, Honey!
Time: 9:16 a.m. I stayed in bed a while to read this morning.
In my mug: Chocolate protein powder in a glass of milk. On Success Warrior‘s suggestion, I’ve switched protein powder for my morning Ovaltine.
Outside my window: Snow, though not as much as we were expecting. It’s still snowing, though, and NOAA is telling me that we’re supposed to get another 5-7 inches today. Nothing we can’t handle (and I think Mr. Chili is kinda looking forward to trying out the new-t0-him snow blower).
In my belly: The aforementioned protein milk and half a raspberry thumbprint cookie. I’ll probably get some toast in a little bit.
Beside me: Mr. Chili on my right and Bruder on my left.
In the fridge: Leftover turkey and prime rib, some eggnog, milk, and the remains of the oh-my-Goddess cheesecake, which we’re consuming in blissful bits.
In my ears: The Chili Brothers discussing the snow, their parents, and the iPad game Bruder’s got going..
On me: Grey fleece pants, a white, long sleeved top with word “peace” embroidered lengthwise and in fancy letters in the center, and cream colored woobie socks. I may not get out of my jammies all day, thank you very much.
Looking forward to: Doing a little bit of nothing today. We gave the girls Toy Story 3 and Despicable Me for Christmas, so I’m thinking we might have a movie this afternoon (my vote is for Despicable Me).
Grateful for: My healthy family, my precious friends, and for feeling no want.
Happy Monday, Everyone!!

That was fun to read – it painted a nice picture! The Igor Family also got “Despicable Me” for Christmas, which we have borrowed. I am also looking forward to watching it – perhaps on Wednesday or Thursday, when WE might get a spot of snow – which has to be better than the endless rain we’ve been having.
Happy winter vacation, teacher friend!
Of course I stole this.
