Mr. Chili and I have an evening to ourselves while the girls perform in their second night of the middle school play (we went to opening night last night, and will bring flowers to the closing show tomorrow afternoon). **Edited to include** The bastids at the theatre canceled our showing of Source Code, so we went to see this instead. It was entirely predictable, but enjoyable for what it was; I don’t want my two hours back:

If you don’t have Netflix, you should. The streaming service has most of those movies available to watch on your computer or TV if you have a wifi box.
Have a great date! And of course I will have to do this, too.
I saw Source Code this afternoon. Meh. Though many disagree with me.
Mrs. Chili,
Sounds like you and Mr. Chili had a fun nite at the movies! I saw Hall Pass last weekend–really crazy, but my 19 year-old daughter wanted to see it. Hilarious! Looking forward to reading new postings on your school blog. Still catching up on your archives! Hope all is well with you at school.

Did you see it and did you like it?? xo
We did see it, and we did like it. It was exactly what I expected it to be – a John Grisham-like thriller (in fact, the film was based on a novel by Michael Connolly) with a predictable – but thoroughly enjoyable – plot, a couple of decent laughs, and a satisfying conclusion. We got what we paid for.
By now you know how little regard I have for best-of lists. I ask nothing from a movie but that it entertain me. There are some movies on the list you posted that I liked watching.
You must see All About Eve. I’m not sure I can go on, knowing that you haven’t.
Rob, I’m going to sign up for Netflix soon (my sister gave me a subscription for my birthday). That’ll be my first movie, I promise!
