Falcon, it was really disappointing. There wasn’t a whole lot of character development, so I felt like I never really cared about any of the players. The central conflict of the film was kind of thin; if the characters were as smart as they were putting themselves up as being, they would have been able to figure a work-around for the issue in about five minutes. Finally, the change in the lead character was so drastic as to be unbelievable – again, with the character development; if we’d seen better into who this guy really WAS, maybe we could have bought the severe shift in his motivations and behavior, but for my money -2 bucks at RedBox – it just didn’t work.
What I'm Reading:
I'm getting ready to start a new round of reading at school, but before that happens, I hope to finish The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. I kind of wish I'd read it BEFORE I finished my Aliens and Vampires in Literature class, but whatever...
I never really had any intention of watching this film, but I’m still curious as to why you felt it fell short?
Bummer.
