It’s snowing today, and the news has been reporting accidents all over the place. A facebook friend posted a picture of the damage she did to her car by sliding into a guardrail this morning, and Mr. Chili decided to bail on driving across the state to a testing lab where they’ve been working on a space instrument in favor of the 7 mile drive to his office in the next town over. I’m gearing up the gumption to suit up and shovel the driveway so when he comes home, he’ll be able to get to the garage.
Sigh.
I hate winter. Why do I live in Northern Maine?
I live in Western MA and drive a car with nearly 200,000 miles on it. New snow tires? Don’t think so. Selective driving days, for sure. Hope you all got to work and home safe and sound.
I love New England road signs! And Subarus. All-wheel drive makes life a lot easier in wintertime.
