I’m struggling with the whole “there are two sides to every story, and somewhere in the middle lies the truth” meme. Aren’t there some cases where one side is factually, demonstrably wrong?

In science and math not in human interaction.
I think that meme holds true in a lot of cases, but certainly in others, one side is wrong. As kizzbeth indicated, human interaction being the most likely instance where “two sides” holds true. I assume you had something specific in mind that triggered the question?
