That is, in fact, ME behind the snowblower. I was scared of the thing for the first half hour or so, then I figured it out. My hands are tired and weak from holding the clutches down, and I had a hard time figuring out which way to aim the chute as the wind was whirling around in different directions, but I found the driveway AND the front porch, and now I’m back in my pajamas.
It was hard to tell how much snow we got, Jen, because it was blown into drifts all over the place and I don’t know if my town does an “official” measurement. My guess would be that we got an inch or two shy of two feet; that seemed to be the most common “low water mark” that I encountered.
What I'm Reading:
I've started reading The Doomsday Book. by Connie Willis. I was planning to read it as a paper book, but I found myself stuck in a long-wait situation and downloaded it to my cloud. I'll read it in both formats; I don't mind switching between the two.
Is that YOU wielding that snowblower? If so, I am duly impressed!

There was 32″ at Chez Ellen. That snow practically dwarfs you, Mrs. Chili! Nice with the snowblower. You go, girl.
