Tearing Another Page

This is the last day on the 2009 calendar. I was going to write something long and profound about what a year this has been, until I came across this post from 1000 Awesome Things (really – put this site on your reader). It says everything I would have said, so go on over and have a look, then raise a glass and celebrate what it took to get you here.

  1. Yeah, happy merry drinking night… I’m going to hoist a glass of something strong and tasty, and be glad that I managed to survive this year in one piece.

    • I think A LOT of us are celebrating coming out of this reasonably upright and intact, Joe; it was a hard one for a number of people. I’m not usually one to say “good riddance” to anything, but I’m not sorry to see the calendar changing this year…

  2. Thanks for the message! Happy blogging in 2010 🙂

Or, I’ve done what I’ve done, I am where I am, live with it.

    NO, I like yours better.

  4. Love it! And thanks for the link to 1000 things.

  5. May 2010 bring much joy to the Chilis! XO

I love that – thanks for posting it.

Good riddance to 2009, with a nod to the lessons learned. Onwards and upward, eh?

May 2010 be truly a wonderful year for you and yours, my friend!

  7. I just enjoyed that post in my feedreader before getting to yours. It’s a great one, and very true for many of us. Here’s hoping you have a great 2010. 🙂

  8. I read 1000 Awesome Things daily. And there are more.

2009 was, 2010 is welcoming us all in.

We are going there gladly. All that knowing that 2010 will bring us several nice travel and adventures and despite knowing of the possible passing of any number of people we know and love.

As Mr. TBD has said, “I’ve done what I’ve done, I am where I am, live with it”. That, and I’m hoping for so much more this coming year.

Blessings to all for this New Year.

  10. Happy, happy New year Chili and crew and all the Chili commenters.
