Quick Hit – I Can’t Make This Shit Up

I found this on The Other 99%’s facebook page, and I just couldn’t resist passing it along.

Dude!  If you’re going to make a virulently anti-gay campaign ad, you probably shouldn’t be taking fashion cues from Brokeback Mountain.  Just sayin’.

While you’re at it, go here and click the thumbs down on his video.  Asshole.

I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that the target audience for the ad hasn’t ever seen Brokeback Mountain.

That’s what education and outreach are for, Brandon.

Nor would they likely have any desire to see the movie.

Clearly the target audience for this is “likely Republican voter”, and Newt seems to have the racist vote locked up. Perry’s team of professional campaigners looked at the Republican base and determined that their hatred of gay people combined with their religion-based persecution delusions would be a winner for Perry.

I can keep pointing out that Republicans are terrible, terrible people… but if you aren’t going to take my word for it, take the word of the people crafting the messages designed to get a thumbs-up from Republican voters.
