Today, I’m happy for time in the kitchen.
We invited the gentleman who owns the cottages we rent at the lake to share dinner with us tonight. I put on a spread of chicken piccata with linguine and French green beans, followed by a dessert of Nutella-croissant bread pudding. It was fabulous, if I do say so myself. The company was lovely, the weather cooperated so we could share our meal on the back deck, and it was an all-around perfect evening.
