Quick Hit: Excitement Turns to Panic

Eddie finished his run.  My understanding is that he was in the elite men wave and so finished well before the time of the blasts.

I was completely panicked when I heard about the blasts and couldn’t reach him.  He sent me a text a few minutes ago from the airport, though, so I know he’s okay.  Many people aren’t.  I am bereft.

  1. He got all the way to the airport. That’s so good. Glad to hear it.

  2. Thank you for letting us know he’s alright. He’s been one of my favorite people for a long time and I’ve been nearly sick.

Many prayers for the people of Boston and the others affected. How truly terrible.

thank you for posting this-although i don’t ‘know’ either of you, i follow you religiously (how’s THAT for stirring up conversation….)

    So glad he’s all right.

  5. I am loving the fact that I have folks who love me. Not my best race — not at all; but in the end, I am a better person today than I was on Sunday.
